How long to I keep CCleaner’s fixed and saved registry files before I can delete them?

Files and files of saved, cleaned and fixed registry files (I use CCleaner) are building up. I bet I have over a hundred of them. How long do I have to save them before I can delete them? I’ve been searching for an answer to this on Piriform and in my browser, but so far I can’t find an answer? Any experts on this issue? I’d really appreciate some help. Thank you.

That could be different for each user. If you delete a registry key, that a program needs, but you don’t use the program very much, you would not know in till you went to use the program. I usually clean them out after several months. Cleaning the oldest first. Then when I’ve got about 3 months left I stop.
The answer above me is wrong, they take up very little room, and Ccleaner doesn’t make mistakes very often. But it can happen, and you should save them.

Hi … ! I have been using CCleaner for past 2-3 years and I never save registry before I fix the issue, coz you simply dont need it… I never faced any issue due to CCleaner …! Dont save them, CCleaner is completely safe, no need to panic, go ahead and delete them ..

Try Eusing free registry cleaner, its better …

When you do a scan, it will show you all the files that are not needed, or unused (analyze) – on the right side bottom (run)When you click on run, it will automatically get rid of the files, and similarly when doing the reg cleanup (It will ask you if you are sure that you do not want to backup)Once done, the files are gone …and not stored.

A week is a good safe zone, a back up is definitely the life saver of a computer. Good for you to backup even you trust your registry cleaner, hey cleaning a registry takes a few minutes, reformatting the computer takes you to headaches and heart attacks
    Good day
