How to remove Internet Explorer 8 from registry after I unistall Internet Explorer 8?

I’ve unistalled Internet Explorer 8 so that my computer will go to Internet Explorer 7 but Internet Explorer 8 is still in my registry, how do i remove it?

download and run free ccleaner and use the regitry issues fixer and it will remove any instances

Can you tell the version of your IE8? Is your system xp? Does it run under SP3? It’s hard to uninstall ie8 if your system is with sp3. You’ll need an exclusive way to get it off. Try perfect uninstaller in "special uninstall" method. It does work fine.
