AMELIE asked:
I ran a free scan from RegCure and XP pro Repair. They found about 800 faults and CCleaner only about 200. Should I buy one of these and it spedd my computer up a lot or stick to CCleaner which might not be as good but is free?

Stick with CCleaner. The registry fixes CCleaner gives you are the most important and will not damage the registry. I have never had to restore a registry after fixing it with this program.
There is also only a marginal increase in system speed when you remedy registry problems, so this isn’t such a big issue.
