Where in my computer registry system would I find the register to change a search problem.?

Something in my system will not let me use any search engines. Wether on the net or through a page. I cannot even go to the google home page. all I get is the Http 404 error. Something on this system (Not Mine) got something set by software or adware that will not let this system access any type of search engine… HELP!

    in start menu open the run type regedit
    registery editor will open in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE check the unwanted registery like spyware or adware

    note: this is very dangerous to check manully the registery i thin ur computer have spyware download any good registery machanic or spyware removal tools from net

    You should use a registry repair software. Check out this page http://www.computer-customizing-guide.com/data-backup-solutions.html and scroll down a little, look at the windows registry section. Good help.
